![]() Now they are receptive, now they are ready! Your parcels and stipends are reaching us in good order. They are a great strength to the Church in Ukraine! God has but one ideal and this ideal is Jesus! The Holy Spirit loves Him and that Love is His being, because the Holy Spirit is nothing but Love, the personal Love of the Father and the Word. The Holy Spirit enters into the depths of our soul, penetrates its innermost recesses and takes up His permanent dwelling there, to produce His magnificent work. Do you not know, you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells within you? Without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, you cannot become Christ. Grace and Charity are the life of our souls. The Holy Spirit does not give Himself to us without pouring charity into our hearts. The basic reason God dwells in us, why He remains in us and we in Him, is Love. The soul’s delightful Guest does not remain idle in us, but He begins immediately to influence His transformation. He pours out the Gifts of Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Knowledge, Piety, Fortitude and Fear of the Lord. The Holy Spirit teaches everything by communicating a new light, a Divine Light, to the intelligence itself. He takes our faculties and moves, and guides them so gently that they continue to be spontaneous and free. The perfection of a soul is measured by its docility to the movement of the Spirit, by the promptitude and fidelity with which its strings produce the divine notes of the Song of Love. The Holy Spirit brings to our souls the fruitfulness of the Father and binds us lovingly to the Son. He is truly the Soul of our soul and the Life of our life. Daily, we are keeping your loved ones in our prayers, the sick, those who are dying and those who, like us, are undergoing great persecution. Christ again is crucified! Let us stand with Mary Immaculate at the Foot of the Cross, Her faithful and devoted children! I impart to you all, my priestly blessing: + In the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.

![]() The better we understand the work of the Holy Ghost in the Church and in the hearts of the faithful, the more entirely we are brought under the gracious influence of the Lord and Giver of Life Who draws all souls to Himself. The world of faith is His Kingdom. To Him, we owe all our supernatural being, from its first beginning to its glorious end. Deep should be our gratitude and ardent our devotion to this Blessed Spirit. We speak of Grace but we forget the divine Person whose presence and power confers Grace on us. The Holy Ghost is the Fountain of all divine Truth. He is the sole Source of our sanctification and the Author of our supernatural life. We owe Him love, adoration and obedience. Man, in the pride of his intellect, has grown bold and rejected the Catholic Church and denied God as the First Cause. Materialism measures all things by sense, depresses the instincts of the spiritual life and draws the heart away from the supernatural world. There can be no greater degradation than the denial of man’s spirituality and immortality. He that rejects the Holy Spirit, shall find no comfort. He who grieves Him shall be eternally lost. He is our all abiding strength, a consuming fire, to burn away our dross and lighten our darkness. How happy for us to bear our Paraclete within our soul and how sacred the heart in which He dwells! I remain, one with you in the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Let us pray for one another! Come, Holy Ghost, Creator come, |

Dear Patti Melvin, Director – ULRA,
Yesterday I got a parcel of booklets and Rosaries, Scapulars, Miraculous Medals, St. Philomena cord and oil packets. I appreciate it very much. It is what we are looking for. Many priests came to me for more Rosaries. I also shared it with them. Since it is the month of Mary, our people go house to house for Family Rosary. We gather people in front of Our Lady’s Grotto for praying the Rosary. After reciting the Rosary, they receive the blessings of the Eucharist through benediction. Thank you and our benefactors for your generous donation. With your support, we are able to reach out and introduce souls to the Living Rosary. Let’s go to Jesus through Our Mother Mary. God bless you all! Fr. Martino Ai Han, Catholic Pastoral Center, Maesai – Chiangrai – THAILAND |

FATHER MATEO ON THE HOLY SACRIFICE OF THE MASS (continued) THE DIVINE MAJESTY OF THE MASS In the celebration of the Mass, there is an action performed by the celebrant, which shows the majesty of the Sacrifice and admirably sums up the entire ideal of the glorification of the Father and the Trinity by the adorable High Priest and Mediator. At this sublime moment, the nine Choirs of Angels, the whole Assembly of Heaven and Purgatory seem to surround the celebrant, drinking in his words and holding their breath at the divine majesty of his gestures. Shortly after the Consecration, the priest takes the divine Host into his hands, and traces a cross over the Precious Blood in the Chalice saying, “Through Him, with Him and in Him, be to Thee, God the Father, in union with the Holy Spirit, all honour and glory.” At this, he lifts the Chalice and Host together towards Heaven. Let us stress the grandeur of this divine action. St. Paul himself could not have found words, coming down from the third heaven as he did, capable of expressing the depth of this liturgical formula, so rich is it in meaning. Through Him, the God-Man of Bethlehem, Tabor and Calvary, really present in the hands of the priest as He was in the arms of His Mother. With Him, the God-Man crucified, dead and alive again. He who has mounted to Heaven and sits at the right Hand of the Father, to whom the Father has given all power in heaven and on earth. In Him, the God-Man, by whom and for whom everything has been created; who has been constituted Through Him, with Him and in Him, may there be infinite glory to the august and adorable Trinity. Should a miraculous light come upon the celebrant disclosing to him the full meaning of his action, he would die on the spot: not from fright, but out of wonder and joy. It was the signal privilege of the Blessed Virgin to anticipate the offering made by the priest by the oblation she made of her Son to His Father at Bethlehem, in the Temple of Jerusalem and on Calvary. Can you see, now, how the Mass is the official hymn of glory, the only one worthy of the august Trinity? In this hymn, there is a stanza which Christ Himself taught the Apostles. He sings it at the Altar through the mouth of His Church. “Our Father, who art in heaven… Father, hallowed be Thy name! Father, Thy kingdom come!… Father, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Just think of it! The One who is saying this prayer is none other than the Incarnate Word, the Son of God and the Son of Mary, who, at the Altar, sings the glory of His Father and our Father. The creation of the universe out of nothing is but a tiny spark of glory compared to the glory rendered at the Altar to the Three Persons of the Blessed Trinity by Jesus Christ the High Priest. Keeping our eyes and hearts fixed on the Golgotha of the Altar, let us make a bold and imaginative supposition, even as our |

Share Your Gift of FaithFor centuries, our cherished Catholic faith has been passed from person to person, parent to child, etc. Each of us carries in our heart a special memory of how God first graced us with the knowledge of the faith and how Our Blessed Mother, Saint Philomena, Venerable Pauline Jaricot and other saints changed our lives and brought us closer to Christ. In our work in the Universal Living Rosary Association, we see first hand how millions of souls are currently living without that knowledge of God and are living outside of His grace. We have been given a beautiful opportunity to carry out Christ’s work and pass on our faith and blessings to others who would otherwise never be introduced to Our Lord, the Savior of all mankind. Just as we pray for the souls in Purgatory who have no one to pray for them, we should also make it a part of our life’s mission to pass on our faith to as many souls as possible who have no one else to pass it on to them, who don’t know Our Lord and His promise of salvation. This is the box we send out to the foreign Missions $77.95. It contains Rosaries, Scapulars, Miraculous Medals, Cord & Oil, Newsletters, Calendars, Catechism books, 2 TAN books, large color prints, lists and encouragement for our Promoters. |
