Dear Sis Patti Melvin,

Greetings of Peace in Christ!

I can't thank you enough for your recent rosary donations and some scapulars and devotionals materials. I also encouraged many teenagers and students particularly First communicants to join this beautiful Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA). Please know how much you've helped my ministry and how much I appreciate it. In future days, I will be sending the names of the New Members of the ULRA, maybe 3rd week of December. Attach also in this mail some photos of the package that I received many weeks ago. Sorry for the late reply due to the fact the we are now experiencing the Diocesan Pastoral Assembly and I'm one of the delegates representing our Catechist group so we are very busy. I also want to ask if you can send me the "Mini-shrine" Package for the St. Philomena Youth for Purity that you've just announced in your dedicated decades Newsletter. I will try my best not just to catechize children and teenagers just like me, but also to tell them the importance of Purity of Body and Soul and to encourage them to imitate this virtue just like what St. Philomena did. Hoping for your consideration.

Thank you and May God Bless you always!

Yours truly,

Dearest Patti,

By God's grace, it is today that we finished with the enrollment of 1,215 new Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) members, their packages of devotional Items and other correspondences. All have been posted this evening including the lists to you by Air. Hoping all would reach their destination safely and as soon as the new members are to begin their Assigned Decades on December 8th, 2011, the feast of the Immaculate Conception Of The Blessed Virgin Mary.

Patti, I shall be leaving Office tomorrow to make preparation for my late Sister's Final Funeral Rites which is scheduled from November 26th to 28th. Kindly pray for me and the eight children she left behind, the husband and the entire family. We thank you once again for the box of the Rosary for the dead. What a great consolation!!! May God bless you more and more.

Peace Be To You Patti!!! Pax Te Cum Patti!!!!

Yours in Jesus and MARY,

Dear Patti,

I received the parcel of rosaries and other devotionals a few days ago. I couldn't write you earlier because I had troubles with my computer. I have been distributing the rosaries, booklets and other Sacramentals to the parishioners and members of the Philippine Chaplaincy of the Holy Land. I also received the letter with the stipend for the month of October. Thank you very much for your continuous support. I celebrated the Solemn High Mass today, Oct. 15 at the Tomb of the Lord at the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre for you and for all our members’ intentions. It is indeed a great privilege for me to celebrate this Mass at the Tomb early in the morning.
Prayerful best wishes,

Dear Patti, Be blessed.

Here attached, some pictures of some adults of our group. Other pictures will be sent to you soon. For about 15 years now I've been member of our association. My dream and hope now is to come sooner or later one day to Dickinson especially when the good Lord deems it necessary with the intercession of Saint Philomena through you. In our diocese every summer (between June and September) a priest is free to take a leave of at least one month two). On the pictures with the members my humble self God bless.

Dearest Patti,

I am so grateful and thankful to you for the box of Rosary for the Dead posted to me by Air on October 27th which is received today immediately after returning from our weekend trip this afternoon. Thank you endlessly for your wonderful consolation letter and the Mass card for my late beloved Sister, Mary Ama Anima. On the part of the entire Family this is so much encouraging and much better than anything for a bereaved Family like ours. Also at the same time today, I received another separate envelope by Air from you expressing your great condolence, sympathy and love. May God bless you now and forever!!!

Patti, we shall begin our next batch of heavy enrollment of new members by tomorrow and we are going to finish hard by the weekend. In fact our trips have yield an abundant of fruits and this time too; we have over 1,200 new members ready to be enrolled. Indeed we would be very much occupied at the Office as we may work on enrollment, preparing of Packages for the new members, filling of Assigned Decade Cards and Sign-up Sheets, treating of correspondences piled up high on my desk as well as mailing. I wish all these to be done before the other week begins, so that I may have enough time to participate fully in the activities of my late sister's Final Funeral Rites as according to our culture/custom here. Patti, of course I cannot do all these very necessary things without your prayers and support. Therefore kindly keep up!!!! May the Good Lord continue to bless and help you in all your undertakings!!!

PEACE BE TO YOU PATTI!!! PAX TE CUM PATTI !!!!

Yours in JESUS and MARY,

Dear Mother Patti,

The Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) was present to Immaculate Heart College, Minimetala, about one hour drive from our Center. The road (photo) leading to the College is included.

Both teachers and students of the College were delighted and appreciated the devotion due to its simplicity. Many confessed that they been finding it difficult praying the Rosary for many Years.

The Rev. Sister, Claire, in charge of collecting the lists promises to encourage both teachers and other Rev. Sisters to enroll.

She further wished that group prayer in honor of St. Philomena to be established. This according to Sr. Claire to enable the students in the College dormitory to be more prayerful.

Meanwhile, the box Sheila sent arrived last Week, Thursday.

Some lists will off this Week.

Dear Mother Patti,

How are you? I hope you are doing great. I received the heavenly gift you sent me yesterday and I shared those treasures to the new members of Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA). I will be sending another list of new members this coming week. If you can send me holy oils I would be glad to give them to the members since some of them need it most. Thank you very much Mother. God bless you and keep you. My prayers are with you Mother.

Hi Patti,

Greetings to you and our family of the saint Philomena. I am a member of the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) -from Papua New Guinea. I have been a member since 1999.

My family and I have seen many miracles through this little wonder worker and are blessed. Thanks God, the work of the rosary is touching the hearts of many people close to us and those that have never come in contact.

God is good and works in so many ways. I am also pleased and request if you can also offer my prayers to the shrine of St. Philomena for my baby brother, who is in the seminary to strengthen his calling to the priesthood. I have distributed the rosaries to the so many unfortunate people that are crying for rosaries, this has touched their lives.

I am kindly requesting if you can sent the following items to me so I can distribute to the unfortunate catholic brothers and sisters who live far in the remote islands of our parish in Kavieng-Papua New Guinea and also this will help the work of my kid brothers pastoral work.
Items to send include;
• Rosaries
• Scapulars
• Philomena medals
• Philomena oil and rope
• And the little prayer booklets with the DD.

Just as I was reading my email NewsFlash from Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA), my mom sent an email telling me that her sister, who has been undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer got a call from her doctor today and is cancer-free! Last week, her cell counts were low and she was told that she would begin more aggressive chemo, and then would need a double mastectomy. I credit St. Philomena, St. Peregrine, and St. Jude for obtaining this miracle from our Lord.

Also, I have been applying the oil over my sons’ hearts, since both have abnormalities. My 8-year old was born with a narrow pulmonary valve, which we recently learned is healed; my 5-year old was born with a narrow aortic valve and is more serious. At the same doctor visit, we learned that he is no worse than before, and the doctor could see that he has some very large coronary arteries that are making up what is lacking in the valve. Thanks be to God, and thank you, St. Philomena! So many other little prayers have been answered, but I wanted to share these two big ones.

Lastly, I ordered the oil kit that comes with the Chaplet, and wanted to thank you for your generosity in sending a whole bunch of goodies. We will make sure each item is put to the best use.

God Bless you!
