Thursday, March 14, 2013 Dear Mother Patti, Some lists of names of the new members of the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) numbering about 1,300 went off this morning. Also, this morning, I went and distributed about 100 materials to pupils and teachers of St. Catherine's Elementary school English Section. As you can see, the English Section has different uniform from French Section. These uniforms are the same in all Elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Yaounde. I inquired information from various teachers, wanting to know how they are praying their Decades, some thanked us(ULRA) sincerely for this method of praying the Rosary, hence according to them, it is not evident for them praying the Rosary daily due to their home and school engagements. Notwithstanding, this method is very fantastic and helps them be united with million others who are praying their Decade. Beside, some told them that this method has restored their family prayer which has been abandoned for a very long time. They also told that they used to ask children in class, if they did pray their Decade daily, many according to one of the teachers, responded "Yes". More school requested us to visit them too. So, Apostolate is continuing. Ave Maria! Paul E.EKPE The Living Rosary Cameroon Yaounde CAMEROON |

On behalf of our St. Philomena group here in Rundu/ Namibia I want to thank you so much for the parcel of devotional items, that I have received this week, the parcel arrived safely at our post office some days ago; I am so excited to receive it. Thank you so much for all the valuable items, I hope that the information in the booklets and newsletters will nourish souls and animate the members. Please my dear Patti, the members are indeed of: St. Philomena holy cord and scapulars, this is due to a big numbers of our members who have joined the organisation. The number has increase to 3 500 here in our vicariate. We have an idea to develop a centre (ULRA) here in our country Namibia, so that the items can come at the centre, then disturbed at our local churches since the region is so big. We have elected our local leaders who is animating the group consist of a spiritual Director who is a priest, coordinator and chairperson, we need your help and support for the centre to exist. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 Dear Patti Ave. Maria, Greetings from Christians. Thanks for your letter. Here is some report I got connected to our faith especially what people have. REPORT FROM THE CHRISTIANS OF NGORA PARISH. We would like to thanks to the Universal Living Rosary Associaion of Saint Philomena (ULRA) for the things we always receive from the office that have done the following miracles i.e. saying the rosary, medals, scupalars, Saint Philomena’s oil, cord and the literature. It has guided us spiritually. These are some of the testimonies: Unexpectant mother was told by the Doctor in the Hospital that she was going to be operated but after saying a novena prayers of Saint Philomena and taking in the holy oil and anointing the wood in the oil she delivered normally. An old woman went to collect firewood and she saw a big snake appearing and ready to bite her and she used the code she had and prayers and the snake left her. She gives glory to God. Many Christians have used the rosary for chasing demons and have got peace in their homes. They thank Saint Philomena’s association. Many Christians thank the association for the prayers they get which have helped them and most people have seen mother Mary appearing to them through dreams and she encourages them to pray hard for the nation. Miraculous medals have helped people who are putting on them received healing of their problems like kidney, ulcers, lungs and heart problems and they also appreciate the holy oil and the scapular and the give glory to God through Saint Philomena. Message from one mother about holy oil, she had a boy of 9 years who had developed a problem in the ear it was passing purse. She used holy oil within 3 days the boy had cured. Since that time the boy has no problem in his ear. She glorifies God for that. Another woman also who had a swollen leg. After applying holy oil, it became better and no more pain she also glorifies God for it. Thank you so much and blessings to you!! In His service CORNELIA ESIANGU KUMI CENTRE Uganda |

Monday, March 4, 2013 Dearest Patti, Thank you very much for your lovely and thoughtful note of last Saturday, March 2nd. So happy to inform you that we have safely returned this morning from our trip. It was indeed very successful!!! All our trips will yield abundant of fruits. By all means we shall carry on enrollment of so many new members this week. Please try to add more of the new St. Philomena books to our next Airlift as we now find it so tough to make enough photocopies to share like we used to do. We shall also be very grateful to have some sets of the STATIONS OF THE WAY OF THE CROSS and CRUCIFIXES, if at all possible, as they are always in great demand most especially at Lent. Patti, So delightful to inform you that, now the ULRA is best known in Ghana as the Promoter of the "4 KEYS TO HEAVEN" simply because we normally preach about the Holy Eucharist, Holy Rosary, Brown Scapular and the Way of the Cross. Yes, we are to keep the Catholic Faith!!! Moreover too, we are so grateful that, so many people have got to love and honor our Blessed Virgin Mother Mary and St. Philomena and try to invoke them through the teachings of the ULRA as we never cease make them known, each time the opportunity comes. Patti, thank you so very much for your prayers, support and encouragement. Also thank you in advance for all you are willing to grant us for the betterment of the ULRA here. God be with you all!!! PEACE BE TO YOU PATTI!!! PAX TE CUM PATTI!!! Yours in Jesus and Mary, Anthony Foster Oduro Uganda |
Friday, March 1, 2013 Praise be to Jesus and Mary, Thanks for your sincere prayers and support. We have already started experiencing the effects of your prayers by the peace that it here. Today make history in Kisumu where there will be 2 rival rallies, the mood is peaceful, this has never happened before. Kenyans are ready to keep the peace. The novena has been a great inspiration from the parishioners and the people who got it; we have received many questions and recommendations. Some of the laity knew that novena’s can only be designed by priests or religious people. Keep praying for us. You are in our daily intercessions. Blessings. Yours in the Wounded Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Steve Team Leader SAINT PHILOMENA YOUTH EVANGELIZATION TEAM KENYA |
Greetings from Sudan! The Saint Philomena food handouts donated by your benefactor have been a wonderful success. The millet, rice, flour and corn have been divided into one pound bags so that many benefit. I have spread these along the North Western Region diagonal to N.E. Congo thicket where thousands of innocent people hide to escape being killed by Kony rebels. I began in the Guardian Angel Parish, the gateway! It has been an outstanding gesture of our visit, indicating both the human and divine nature of the Living Rosary. God’s providence has provided enormous strength to Zacharia, the head catechist of the newly opened Holy Family Parish. Best of all, his Yei diocese catechists are teaching sound Catechism. He fully participates in enrollments of new members; he has, for long, been the inspiration of the vast parish neglected over the years due to clergy insufficiency! I paid a courtesy call to the sick elderly Bishop, Msgr. Erkolano; sickness is partly caused by continuous rejection trauma of his kidney transplant and persistent persecutions by the self-centered and tribalistic suspended priests who have sown insubordination which continues since the diocese’s creation 25 years ago! The straight-forward prelate told me in an anxious deep tone that the Living Rosary is the NEW FOUND UNIFYING FACTOR amid their chaos! With helpless outstretched hands, he asked why we took long without visiting! He reminded me about the 2010 request for 20 black cassocks to help him! So Patti, look anywhere from the parishes, for the particular needs! I assured him of an earlier return! It is in my plan to sacrifice and venture to reach the nearer dioceses of Yei, Juba and Torit by land as now communication becomes slightly better but leave outreach to Rumbeck, Malakal, Wau and Yambio dioceses by plane! Hope, the Uganda-Juba plane costs decrease by a slight percentage! Here, I was with Fr. Severio in St. Bakhita Chapel. St. Bakhita is the sole Sudan born Saint! The foods were not divided as the people decided that I give it to them as a gift for the feast of their Saint that was celebrated on 10th February. Fr. Severio blessed the Sacramentals before we distributed to the parishioners who were so happy! Parishioners of St. Bakhita feasting with the Saint Philomena foods! They were happily mingling the Saint Philomena foods as they preferred millet and cassava flour. The food experience has been so good and it helped to bring more people to love the Mother of God and St. Philomena. Sudan suffers from chronic drought, thus hunger is prevalent in most parts! Your Liaison, Slave of the Immaculata Emma Uganda |
