Dear Director Patti,

AVE MARIA!

I give thanks to God for the many beautiful things I received from you. They will surely touch the hearts of many! Just this morning, I send names enrolled in the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena with 90 new members.

I am glad to tell you that a poor mother, Marisa Cordita enrolled in Universal Living Rosary # 470519 (Agony in the garden) was diagnosed with a cyst on her breast. She fervently prayed through the intercession of St. Philomena. Miraculously the cyst disappeared! My 10 yr old nephew, Aldwin Louis Intas enrolled in the Universal Living Rosary # 470503 (The Presentation of Jesus in the temple) has a mild leukemia. It's more than a year now that he never had a pain in his joints since he wears the chord and uses the Holy Oil of the little princess. The Holy Oil of St. Philomena indeed, is truly a source of healing!

With my grateful heart I pray that the Lord will continue to bless you all with His comforting love for all the wonderful things you made for all of us.

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph,

Dear Mother Patti,

How are you? Hope you’re ok. I was away for a month when my mother informed me of the two forex boxes she received. My heart was jumping with joy knowing that this heavenly gift will edify and convert the hearts of people. So much effort and perseverance must be placed in this noble and divine endeavor so as to reach the end with triumph. Please Mother, if you could make some follow up’s regarding the approbation of ULRA in the different parishes in the city.

I am asking a little help from you mother of some things needed in establishing a little office in our house. Some tarpaulin of Mama Mary and St. Philomena. I have list of new names here and I will send it as soon as possible.

Likewise I’ll send some photos. Take care always Mother. You are in my prayer and the staff always.

God bless.

Dearest Patti,

HAIL MARY!

I thank you for the forex box you have just sent to me months ago. Several people were joyfully embraced the devotion of the Most Holy Rosary through the inspiration of St. Philomena. She was started performing healing through her Holy Oil to the sick devotees. Many are cured not only their physical sickness but also spiritual, and this was the concrete evidence I ever heard through her intercession. The material (rosaries, miraculous medal etc.) has been distributed to the faithful to the different religious communities, organizations, and groups working in the Church. It is very rare time also to have these materials for the Youth and Children because this month is our "FLORES DE MAYO" a devotion of the Blessed Virgin Mary where we offered Rosaries and Flowers in a very special way. Many are interested to this holy devotion to the Blessed Mother which we believed the strong way to fight against the corruption of sin, to sanctify the Families, and to lead us to the Kingdom of Heaven. This sacred endeavor is given to us to work it, to live it, and to share it to all. We will pray one another for this mission.

This is also to inform you that we have a new Archbishop here in our Archdiocese. He was canonically installed last year by our Papal Nuncio to the Philippines. Please produce an official letter coming from your office asking permission from him representing by me to spread the devotion of the Universal Living Rosary Association here in his archdiocese. It is good for us to work if we have the blessing from the Archbishop so that we could have the official authority to work Parish by Parish. We are a Metropolitan Archdiocese which composed of several suffragan Dioceses namely: Archdiocese of Palo (Mother Diocese), Province of Leyte, Diocese of Naval (Biliran Province), Diocese of Borongan, Diocese Catarman, Diocese Calbayog (Samar Provinces). Please pray that we could be able to spread this devotion to these following provinces even little by little as soon as possible. Once we could have this permission I plan to make a local Universal Living Rosary Center here in my Archdiocese to serve and assist our local promoters. This is my dream for the association.

I will send you later the registration lists to your office as soon as we finalize together with pictures. Again I would like to request to send us more Holy Oil, Chord of St. Philomena and other religious materials we need, I know you don’t have enough means to provide us because of the limited budget do you have, but I believe that God who are the source of all riches in this world will provide us, this is not for us but this is for Him. Rest assured our prayers and little sacrifices to be offered for our intentions.

Ave Maria!

Mother Patti,

The Sacramentals here are enough for my diocese in some schools here, this start of classes but to the diocese of Alaminos it's not enough. If you can send an emergency Forex or route other boxes to me for the Diocese which is greatly devastated, I will go there after finishing some appointments here and giving instructions to my leaders. I will stay in the Diocese of Alaminos for Three days or more to visit barangays, towns and churches especially the cathedral destroyed by the Super Typhoon EMONG as soon as I receive money from you for this promotion trip. Let us give HOPE to these people! By giving them the heaven's armor, Rosaries and Miraculous Medals.

Mr. Von Torio my best friend and a promoter of the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) and I will stay in the Major Seminary in Alaminos as soon as we finish our trip. It will be a great blessing if they will also provide food for us. We will just shoulder our transportation. But if not, because the seminary is being shouldered by the diocese and the whole diocese is under crises because of the typhoon, we will provide food for ourselves. Please Mother; make this trip possible by sending us fund for works in my diocese and my trip to Alaminos Diocese. And make the fund sufficient for the whole month and for the postal fees because my lists and pictures of the work are ready to be sent.

Waiting for a positive reply.

God bless the Diocese of Alaminos!
God bless your missionaries!
God bless our benefactors!

ALL FOR THE SAKE OF THE TRIUMPH!!!!!!!

Dear Brothers & Sisters in the Universal Rosary Association,

Peace be with you!

I am Fr. Jose Salvador Mallari, a Catholic priest presently assigned as pastor of the Parish of St. Joseph the Husband of Mary In Bangad, Cabanatuan City, Philippines. I got to know you through SR. MARY G. MAGSIANO, OP of Sta. Marina Omura in Cabanatuan City, Philippines.

She gives us rosaries for our catechists, youth, Legionaries of Mary and other parishioners. We would like to thank all you because you become instruments to make our parishioners closer to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through the rosaries you give they are encouraged to pray.

Please be assured that we are also praying for your association. May God bless you all. You may visit my blog at http://sonofjoseph.blogspot.com  to see some of the people who received rosaries from you.

Thank You Very Much!

Ave Maria!

Mother Patti,

God is Good!!!!! The children's festival yesterday was successful!!! I had taken pictures to these cute little ones. At 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. I was in the Annunciation of the Lord Parish. From 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. in St. John the Evangelist Cathedral. 2:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. in the bank and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. I was in the St. Therese of the Child Jesus parish. It was raining cats and dogs yesterday so they transfer the venue in their parish halls. I hire vehicles to travel three large bags full of heavenly treasures plus the heavy magazines and catechism booklet from one parish to another. It was tiring but it is worth it. The smiles of these little ones and their catechist are priceless! I did not yet receive the money you sent in mail. But I received a Forex Box this morning, no fund for the work inside.

We need to do sacrifice, Souls are priceless and precious!

Dear Director Patti,

With grateful heart I thank you all for your thoughtfulness. The forex box reached to the convent few days before I arrived from a vocation campaign in Visayas and Mindanao. The rosaries and fosters had really soothed my tiredness...I was deeply touched by your efforts and was inspired to give my time for the apostolate of the association.

I was so lucky to have been given a chance to promote the Universal Living Rosary during the summer youth camp of the diocese of Kidapawan, and in southern part of Cebu. I mailed 90 Rosary groups last May 25, 2009. Please let me know when it reached you. More groups will follow.

I wish I can send you pictures of the Rosary members after my vocation campaign in Northern Luzon.

Thank you so much, and May God bless us all...

Dear Sr. Patti,

Thank You for your appreciation and generosity.

Somehow I fell in love with Living Rosary Mission when I was 16-the year I joined the SJ and Mother Mary has bestowed on me bountiful graces and saved me from all the ill health and dangers of death therefore I feel so close to her and want to further the mission of Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) in spite of my studies which is very hectic.

Since Philippines is made up of thousands of islands (There are 7,107 islands, of which about 4,000 are inhabited.) some tribes are very primitive still and hardly any connection with the other islands. Since it’s the only Catholic country I thought I would help them. I will be leaving to Naga 2 days by boat. I thought if you could send some rosaries that would be fine. I thought it would be better if you send it directly to Naga and I distribute to the tribals after the initiation and few instructive sessions. For they prohibit heavy luggage.

Fr. Arun Kumar Sj

P.S. I hope the bishops also take initiative in promoting this devotion
Praying for you and your team

Ave Maria!

Mother Patti,

The coming of the beautiful month of our dearly mother means to pray more and to live the message of Fatima.

I begun it to the children, giving them the catechism booklet to read and use during their catechism classes offered by our parish this month for these little ones, and teach them to pray the Holy Rosary and enrolled them. The decade prayer is a good start to pray the Rosary and contemplate on their mystery. I will visit all nearby parishes to offer the same to the young and old. The decade prayer is a crown of roses offered to the lady this floral month. To be able to visit this parishes and my leaders please help us financially.MM are also given to the children.

All for God!

Dear Patti,

Praise God! St. Philomena really working wonderfully in our place. Recently Rev. Fr. John Lagdamen rushed to the hospital for a mother who delivered a blue baby. The baby looked dead already. Rev. Fr. Lagdamen baptized the baby but the parents could not give any name of the baby so Rev Fr. Lagdamen said, let’s name her "Philomena" as her baptismal name.

After the baptism the baby gave a gestured that she was alive. Later the baby cried again, again and again. Everybody in the family was happy, rejoiced for the baby got alived. Alleluiah! Alleluia! Praise God! Praise St. Philomena! You're a wonderful saint!

Dearest Patti,

Greetings from the Philippines! I'm very sorry for my long silence. It’s just that I can’t open my email add. The last time I viewed it was last Jan ' 09. It was only this week that my 10 y.o. niece surprised with such news. But I had been praying to God to please have it opened because it’s my gateway to the other side of the globe.

Anyway I have received all the packages you sent me. One pack in Ipil, one in Dumaguete and lately a box again in Dumaguete. I will be sending you a long list for the members. I got groups from the catechists, a group from the youth, a group from the parish workers, medical professionals and etc. It’s just that the box you doesn't have enough scapulars...but still I gave them out for I want them to start praying.

I will be sending pictures too just wait for it.

Don't you know our Redemptorist missionary whom I asked to bless the contents of the big box was the one directing how to hold the pictures and where we will stand with the stole around his neck...Oh that was fun, because I never thought that our Irish Redemptorist missionary is that cooperative. He was transferring the big flower vase in front of the image of "Our mother of Perpetual Help." and was putting the box in front of it and said "Here!" So my friend starting shooting pictures.

Another picture of our diocesan priest from Ipil who was blessing the package. Oh I can’t wait to send them to you.

There were enormous miracles on the oil of St. Philomena I will be writing some of them with my letter.
Our Perpetual dawn Rosary members had been asking for it and since we cannot distribute it that much because of its amount we asked them to buy a bottle of baby oil then we pour at least three droplets on it and let them shake it.

When your box arrives I was so happy to receive a lot of St Philomena oil and we will do the same in distribution...drops of it in every bottle.

In this poor country like the Philippines and the due cost of the medicine we always lean on gods help and intercession of the saints and Mama Mary (this is how we Filipinos call her)

Until my next mail. Please wait for the letter....

Again, our deep and warm wholehearted thanks to you and the association.

GOD BLESS US ALL!

In Christ,
Maribec F. Ruiz

Dear Patti,

Belated happy Easter too. Six forex boxes received a day before the holy week.

Our first year anniversary in the launching of St. Philomena devotion and the living Rosary is fast approaching which will full on May first.

We have plenty of plans. One of our activities is showing the life of St. Philomena, Rev Fr. John Lagdamen, our chaplain, suggested to me a DVD about the life of St. Philomena.

If ever you can send us, I highly appreciated and be thankful all about it.

Vestment and other Sacramentals will be turnover on this date to our Bishop. The celebration will open and begin with a concelebrated mass and the main celebrant will be the bishop and company.

Living Rosary will be the next activity to be lead by children.

Then the third activity will be the showing of the life of St. Philomena.

These plans are tentative. Bishop Jose Advincula Jr. and Rev. Fr. John Lagdamen informed me about a farm lot which they name "St. Philomena Farm". Later they will develop that into a religious place which later it will be a pilgrimage for the people in our diocese.

Hope and pray for the realization of all these. God Bless!

Dear Director Patti,

May God be praised in everything we do...

I just arrive from Bicol Region...I am welcomed by the forex box that sooth my tiredness...Thanks so much.

I will make a small package, out of this, to send to Flores, Indonesia. Our sisters there are also interested to promote ULRA. Actually, I already sent just 200 Rosaries two weeks ago. I am really touched by these Rosaries, especially this time that I am living for Mindanao. Our postulants who will come with me are willing to help me promote ULRA in their localities.

I found one blue ball pen inside the box, that must be yours. I'm happy to keep it for myself, at least some of your things is with me...Thanks for that! Thanks for everything. Thanks for the beautiful posters of Mama Mary & St. Philomena. Some of our sisters are already asking some of it to be placed in their chapels.

May God bless you with generous donors to continue this wonderful works He entrusted to ULRA...May He keeps you always in good health so you can serve more, we need people like you...and May He keep us always inspired for Him.

Dearest Madame Patti,

I am once again sending to you the lists of new members here in our place in Surigao city who zealously accepted the devotion, please confirm if you received the list completely by sending us a reply mail.

By-the-way, as of now we have no more available supplies as the small box that you had sent last February 2, 2009 had already been distributed and many are still asking and very much willing to accept the devotion. In fact, at present there are pending names in the hands of my wife and we are waiting for other supplies to arrive if you could provide us more supplies. Just to inquire, Have you send the forex box that you had promised last February 2009 because until I have not yet receive the same?

Two weeks ago, we went to our Bishop Most Rev. Antonieto Cabajog, D.D, Bishop of Surigao having an audience with him together with my wife and I chanced to refer to him about the devotion and asked him if he is amenable of the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) devotion, he replied with a big "YES" and even gives us his blessing to continue the distribution of the devotion in our diocese. HIs blessing gives us more courage and dedication to share our Time, Talent and Treasure by spreading this powerful weapon against evil one's in our present time. Hope you will support us by sending us more supplies although we could not contribute to the association in terms of financial support to defray your expenses as we all know of our present global financial crisis hitting in us especially here in the Philippines.

We also gave to the Bishop the Philomena T-shirt, the Holy Mass sacred objects and the guide for the Mass of the dead that you had sent last December 2008 and he was very happy for those gifts that you had given to us.

The words that came out from our mouths are not enough to express our heartfelt and deepest gratitude first and foremost to our God, King and Savior Jesus Christ, Mama Mary and to St. Philomena, the wonder worker and of course to you and your family and to the benefactors, volunteers and workers of the Universal Living Rosary Association for this great blessings that we received from the association. Anyway your reward of eternal glory waits ahead of us in heaven.

Let us always glorify the most powerful name of the Lord Jesus Christ through our share in His Kingdom in this world.

Thank you so much, Kudos to all of us, good morning to all of us while we are now in the second quarter of the Lenten season 2009!

Please pray for us!

Dear Patti,

Peace.

I'm so blessed today as I together with those named after St. Joseph celebrate today the solemnity of our patron saint Joseph, husband of our Blessed Mother.

Blessed because as I open the box I received from you yesterday, I was touched by the same color of all packs of rosaries which is white. This is a great significance as I am preparing for my silver jubilee of my religious profession comes May 30, 2009 in the Dominican Missionary Congregation. With the past 25 years as a religious, I learn to love more our Blessed Mother and one proof is I appreciate so much this devotion of praying the Rosary communally and individually. I also include in my daily prayers those who are constantly spreading this devotion.

So I am thinking that all people who will receive these rosaries and the other religious articles sent thru me will be of beneficial for their spiritual upliftment.

Affected so much with this overwhelming emotion I felt, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the association and to you PATII who is untiring in spreading the devotion to out Blessed Mother in praying the Rosary. Congratulations, thank you and more power to you and to the entire association all over the world!

Very truly yours,

Sister Josephine Fernandez, O.P.

To: The Universal Living Rosary Association of St. Philomena

I received your package just this afternoon. We are really surprised that the carrier Philippine Postal Office sends us one Box from St. Philomena. It was a high time that when opened it is full of surprise. With the presence of many parents who happen also had their cooking for our feeding session for our young children with the groups Rotarians who witnessed as I open the box. Surprisingly, The Rosary and Miraculous Medals as our chapel patroness here. The parents were very very happy that at last they have rosaries. I distributed to them hands-out, Rosary, the medal, and other sacramentals, and even the Rosaries received also. The teachers also were both happy as my comrades in propagating the Rosary. On Saturday March 15, 2009 is their recollection for Grade VI, and Sunday with Rev. Fr. Apduhan will celebrates the Thanksgiving Mass with the community. I planned by this in our Community mass and pupils that these will be given after consecration to become holy. It is high time that our patron is "Medalya Milagrosa"

Thank you so much and God will give you more blessing and abundance/ rewards

Dear Patti,

Alleluia!!! Go for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

A new innovation in our faith has been observed and practiced. A day before first Friday, we have our one night vigil of the Blessed Sacrament. Religious organizations were scheduled every hour before the first mass on first Friday. Another innovation in the observation in our Lenten Season. The stations of our way to cross were observed as early us 4: 30 dawn around the city. Our Faith has been practice by more sacrifices and suffering in our selves which is truly reparation of our sins. I really appreciated our parish rector.

Our devotion of the Sacred Heart, and our devotion on the Divine Mercy and the promotion of the Holy Rosary and the devotion of St. Philomena deeply promoted by our parish rector together with our parish chaplain were greatly observed and practiced.

I hope and pray the Holy Spirit may shine upon us and bless us with abundance of graces and shower to everyone of us and with our love ones.

May God bless us all!!!

Dearest Director Patti,

May God be praised in everything we do...

I just want to ask if you already received the registration sheets, list of the Rosary groups I sent last January. I made photo copies of all the forms as my file so don't be bothered to send them back to me.

I also used the Rosary group number that you previously sent in distributing the Rosaries you have sent in forex since the first package contain Rosaries only for 7 groups that is 105 pieces. I have no more registration card for the remaining Rosaries that I have. I will be very happy if you will send me. I'll be travelling again bound for Mindanao and Visayas starting April 16 for a vocation campaign bringing with me the rosaries & promoting ULRA and devotion to St. Philomena.

May I also ask from your kind and generous heart scapulars to be shared? I understand that you also need donors to finance your marvelous activity. It is my desire to share even just a little but I really have nothing. I hope I will find another generous soul to help you. I commit myself to pray that may God will take care of your needs.

I hope I will have time to visit Teresita aller in Bantayan Island, Cebu Philippines. I didn’t have any communication with her yet.

Thank you so much and best regards to your whole family.

Dear Patti,

Hello!! Happy feast day! We celebrated the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes. We held a healing mass for all kind of sickness to all sick people in the hospital at home and elsewhere.

Praise God! St. Philomena really a wonder worker. Problems, sickness in all walks of life, really experienced and observed in the community.

Comments of most of our people in community really accepted that the living Rosary St. Philomena devotion really worked. Whenever typhoons, calamities were expected to hit the area of the Philippine archipelago. Thanks to St. Philomena and Mother Mary are there to protect us

Active participation in religious activities such as a one month October dawn Rosary devotion, every first Saturday dawn Rosary devotion, almost all of the people young and adult were there attending religiously.

One afternoon, we and my group went to one of our City chapel to attend the Living Rosary; a woman met us that she has a sick daughter whose sickness could not be diagnosed by almost all of the doctors in our community. So no medicine given to her sick daughter. Almost a year her daughter could not ate solid foods, so she was so thin and so pity. So we provide a Rosary beads, St. Philomena oil & cord, booklet prayer and other religious reading books and dedicated decade booklets to the family.

A family was a mixed marriage; a husband is a catholic and a wife a protestant. The wife converted to be catholic but they could not follow the procedure of how to say the holy Rosary. So we pray with them to lead the holy Rosary and a novena of St. Philomena. Then we anointed the sick daughter with St. Philomena oil and putting the cord around her body. We advice that every after their prayer of the dedicated decades and a prayer of St. Philomena, they anointed their sick daughter with St. Philomena oil. After a few weeks, we visited again the family. The parents were very happy as we get inside in their house, she said; I have very good news to every one of you. My daughter asked me to give her a solid food because she feels very hungry...

We exclaimed! Hail to St. Philomena! Go for the Triumph!
Thanks to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

"Well done, good and faithful servant! Because thou hast been faithful in little, I will place thee over much, enter the joy of thy Lord"

February 10, 2009

Dear Patti,

Greetings of Peace, Love and Joy in the Lord!

As the Church celebrates "World Day of the Sick" tomorrow, the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes I would like to congratulate you for the continuous sharing of your fruitful labors to our beloved Philippine Islands particularly in my local province of Pangasinan which is one of the recipients of the graces from you together with your generous companions in the ULRA.

I thank you for the newsletter you sent thru email and saw the brightness of your heart thru your smiles with Sister Emerintia, O.P. I want to congratulate and thank her also for her devotion to the charisma of St. Dominic, to save souls thru praying and spreading the Rosary to all parts of the world.

I had just mailed yesterday lists of names of 480 new members to propagate and devote their love and piety to our Blessed Mother.

I want to tell the world that to serve God thru our Blessed Mother; one will attain the necessary graces he/she needs in this earthly life. I had personally encountered lots of trials, pains and challenges in my religious life and I won't stop working for the glory of God thru devotion of praying the Rosary because just as the grace been attributed to St. Philomena, I agree God will not fail us in whatever we ask.

Again, thank you and more power to the association. We pray that we may not get tired in the service so that when we meet our Lord one day, we'll be welcomed.

Sincerely praying for you,

Sister Josephine Fernandez, O.P.

Dear Mrs. Patti,

This is to inform you that I've been in touch with this sister for many years in Chennai. She learned Spanish to go to Spain but last minute due to urgency the provincial sent her to Andamans Island. She has been there for a year now like me in Philippines. I asked her to prepare the people all these months about the Rosary since she kept on saying they are crazy and some even faithless etc. Now the people are much open to faith and practice of Christianity including the Catholics for the situation is different there.

So here is her name, city and country, (address to follow):

Sr. Julie Fabiola Fmm
Andamans,
India

She requests now the rosaries having prepared the people for the last eight months.

Please do the needful. I send the sister's address. Andamans is hard to say India. It far away and cut away from India. Only the criminals were sent there as punishment specially the hardcore thugs. So as sister says the situation is pathetic there. I hope our Lady will bring transformation in their life.

Praying for you
Love

Director Patti Melvin,

Pax Tecum!

I am very happy to send another list of new members of the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena (ULRA) who willingly accepted the devotion in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Philomena.

The list is composed of Catholics in our locality coming from different walks of life. Some are professionals, farmers, youth, children, sick people, poorest of the poor, fishers and other ordinary Filipinos who have strong faith in the LORD. Sometimes I could say that while it is true that Filipinos are very poor economically but very rich spiritually, it is the most well known identity of Filipino people.

We are very much happy together with my family after we received the big forex box containing very beautiful rosaries and other sacramentals last January 22, 2009. In fact, since then we were very excited distributing them to our brethren here in our locality. We became so inspired after we observed that the faithful were very eager to accept the devotion and the sacramental we were given to them.

Thank you so much to the Universal Living Rosary Association and we thank God for sending us these weapons to be used in fighting against the evils in the society today, particularly in our country that majority are suffering different kinds of crisis, such as; economic/financial, moral and even some had suffered spiritual crisis. I strongly believed that the devotion is a way to open back the gates of heaven for us to be saved from this entire phenomenon and would bring us back to the mercy of God, and we are sure that many are now praying everyday the Holy Rosary. In fact, the supplies that we received are almost consumed already, only few had been left.

However, we ask you Director Patti to help us pray because as we are propagating/distributing the devotion and after I aired it in our Evangelization Program on air, last December 28, 2008-January 03, 2009 our youngest 7 month old BB Boy Jerome Joy was confined in the hospital as he was infected with a dengue fever. We were sad during that time as we spent our new year in the hospital. But, we are very much thankful to God almighty because despite of what had happened to us, we were not discouraged, instead, our zeal to propagate the devotion and to serve the Lord has been strengthened. Especially that when we offered a healing prayer for God thru Mama Mary and St. Philomena him, he was gradually healed from his sickness. The Holy oil and the Cord were very useful in his healing. besides, we were also able to share the devotion in the hospital, particularly to our room mates whose BB girl (6 months old) was also sick, suffering leukemia and because of our prayer to St Philomena, the family was able to secure free blood donors as they find it hard to look for a blood type and since they had no money to pay. By the grace of God thru St. Philomena, God sent us instrument who gave them bloods.

Just Last Sunday, January 25, 2009 while we were facilitating the on-going formation seminar of the Basic Ecclesial Communities in the Cathedral Parish and while my wife was busy distributing the devotion to hundreds of participants, we were struck by an information that again our child Jerome Joy, the same BB boy had again suffered difficulties in breathing due to severe cough and colds. So, we brought him back in the hospital and until now he is still confined in the hospital. The situation adds our burdens as we are now on financial difficulty.

Please pray for us as we are also fighting other forms of enemies attack. I believed that through prayers, especially that when many are praying everything can be achieved and God provides.

Lastly, please accept another lists of new members of the ULRA which I will send in a separate page, please reply as proof that you have received the mail.

Finally, Please send other boxes of the devotion to include the Rosary Numbers, books if any and other sacramentals as we are now running out of supply and there are a lot asking of the devotion.

Thank you so much for your effort and sacrifices of propagating this devotion, anyway, your rewards of eternal happiness in heaven await ahead of you.

Dear Patti,

Rejoice!! Go for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary & St. Philomena the wonder worker and princess of paradise,

St. Philomena the wonder worker had traveled and reached as far as Romblon, Region 4 Island of Luzon. Sis. Carmen Mortel, DD took vacation to her home province Romblon. Then she met their parish priest Rev. Fr. Nelson Mutia, Mt. Carmel Parish, Brgy Carmen San Agustin, Romblon. Sis. Carmen introduced the devotion of the living Rosary and a devotion of St. Philomena. He was so very interested and he liked that his parishioner will join in the devotion of the living Rosary and at the same time a devotion of St. Philomena.

So he wanted to request Rosary beads, about eight (8) thousand Rosary beads. Sis Carmen Mortel told me all about it that she has to comeback in their home province to join their feast day of our Lady of Mt. Carmel. One of their activities is a recollection and giving of Rosary beads to their parishioner. Sis. Carmen Mortel has to borrow the three streamers St. Philomena, Immaculate of Mary and Ven. Pauline Jaricot.

But my problem is the transportation of huge number of Rosary beads because it travels by bus then transporting again in the boat. So if possible the transportation is directly from your main office to Romblon.

Address it to: Rev. Fr. Nelson Mutia
Mt. Carmel Parish

Their feast day of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel will be on Feb. 16, 2009.

I agree with Sis Carmen Mortel, DD to submit the names of the new members of the living after their feast day. She is an honest and responsible nun. Thank you and God bless us all.

Dear Patti,

If there's a person whom I should not forget to greet this season of Christmas she should be you. And so allow me to express my apology of not greeting you ahead but I know its not yet late so here I am 'Wishing a grace filled Christmas and a Joyous New Year' and even if we had no communication since I sent you the list of my recruits (new members in the Universal Living Rosary Association of Saint Philomena-ULRA), you are always remembered in my prayers.

I am glad to inform you again and again that being a member of the ULRA is a fulfilling experience in one's life. I happen to be the Prioress of the two members (Sister Rosa Bañez and Sister Florida Bustillo) of the ULRA and thankful that I am a member too.

In December 10, 2008 I received your FOREX box for Sister Florida Bustillo, because she was not feeling well then but she said she will just open it when she gets well. Last December 11, 2008 I brought Sister to the nearby hospital due to her incapability to stand and weakening. She stayed there for three days and was diagnosed of "brain tumor". Our Provincial Prioress asked me to transfer her in a bigger and nearby Hospital to our Provincial (Central) House in Manila and was operated of Craniotomy last December 16. She is still recovering until now in the hospital. And with the aid of the good doctors she brings joyful face in spite of the pain of her ailment although she is most of the time is suffering from memory gap.

Together with my sisters in the community, we shower heaven for God's mercy and healing power and with the help of St. Philomena that she may recover to her normal being.

May I also ask prayers from you and our members in the ULRA.

Up to this day, the FOREX box is still closed but having this situation of Sister Flor, may I ask your permission that I will open it so that the purpose of sharing these articles not be defeated?

Thank you and May the blessing of the newborn King Jesus Christ, through the intercession of our Lady (BVM) and St. Philomena be upon you and the whole ULRA.

Sincerely yours,

Sister Josephine Fernandez, O.P.

Greetings from Arun.

This is to THANK YOU SO MUCH for your generosity and great service to further the catholic faith especially the devotion of Rosary.

My rector was surprised to see the parcel. He is from New York and he appreciated your commitment to the devotion of Rosary it’s spreading all over the world.

I met the prisoners of the second jail and gave them a few with special permission from the person in charge. They gave me their names and gave the cards along with the rosaries to them. I shall be visiting the parish next Sunday and I shall ask someone to click the photos to send them to you. I delayed the email for I don't have a personal camera. I've to wait for the person to click or lend it to me.

Thanks once again and I shall do the needful.

Praying for you,

With much love and prayers
